Traditional Environmental Scan reports, massive economic datasets and analysis often contain numerous demographic, economic, employment, and other datasets, reports, maps, and exhibits. Searching and navigating through these could therefore be very daunting and time consuming.

However, moving through this mass of information is now managed, facilitated, and expedited by our “Enviro-Scan-in-a-Box” or ESB. Madrid Consulting Group has developed a simple to use MS Access Model that contains all the Environmental Scan Report exhibits, raw data, business lists, reports, maps, etc and navigational tools – “in a box” or in one place – designed for use by the “non-Access” user.

The model allows users to search by college, category, topic, exhibit, by zip code and retrieve data, exhibits, maps, charts, graphs. In addition users can view, sort, sum, print, or export to MS Excel for further data manipulation. Users can also select businesses by name, NAICS industry code, industry cluster, employee sizes, or sales and create mailing lists for marketing purposes.

Navigation is facilitated by means of simple menus and buttons contained in the central Switchboard area.
